Online marketplaces have really kicked off over the last five years. Surfing online at the 'new in' sections on retailers' websites is one of the biggest procrastination methods. You can now photograph and upload your old clothes in the hope that someone else will appreciate what you once loved and you'll hopefully make money online.
ezebee.com is a social commerce platform and free online marketplace designed for small and medium sized businesses. They have just re-launched with an up to date platform and social features and c clear "mobile first" strategy. After taking a look around for myself, I couldn't believe how easy it was to navigate around the new website and also how easy it was for my bank account to hate me from some new purchases made. Oooooops!
ezebee.com's goal is to offer worldwide small business (or medium) owners their very own platform for selling online. Whether it's your old clothes, the entire contents of your garage 'junk' or maybe you're a creative who makes and sells things; ezebee.com gives you the chance to run your own free online shop. Online buyers like me and you can surf happily in the comfort of our sweatpants and buy new things at the click of a button. Whether it's fashion or DIY products, there is a wide variety of different products being uploaded and sold on ezebee.com everyday.
Import option: Import products to ezebee.com from any other website simply by pasting the link into the import bar and all the data including image will be uploaded in seconds.
What more do you need for an online marketplace? I've created my free online shop and you should too if you have things laying around that you could sell!
Disclaimer: This post is in collaboration with ezebee.com. However, I really do recommend it which is why I've decided to feature it. All opinions remain my own.
I'm off travelling for three weeks in just 12 day's time and I couldn't be more prepared or excited. There's something about leaving London temporarily and exploring a new country that makes me feel so at peace with myself and the world so I am really looking forward to getting away. My last travel related post explains where I am off to this year so I had better get packing pretty soon-ish!
1. A durable iPhone case.
I have an iPhone 6 which is just under a year old. I don't fancy breaking it any time soon so I think the most sensible idea for me right now is to get a durable phone case that will see my phone returning home in one piece with me. Tech21 have a whole range of different iPhone case styles that are specifically designed to protect your iPhone. My top case of choice is their Evo Xplorer which is waterproof, rustproof with impact protection. Absolutely perfect for being around the pool or at the beach and having one too many holiday cocktails!
2. Power bank.
It's to no surprise that a power bank is a must have for just about anyone who has a smart phone. 100% battery can quickly go to 85% simply by just checking all of my social media in the mornings so I'll be taking my customised one which I wrote about a few months ago. I get about 2 full charges out of it so it's perfect for travelling as I can re-charge it every few days.
3. GoPro HERO4.
One of my favourite possessions, ever. I got the GoPro HERO4 last year before I went travelling and I used it so much whilst away. It's a great camera that is waterproof in its case for up to 40m, captures 12mp photos and films at 30 seconds per frame. Check out my travel post from last year for photographs shot on my GoPro and I also filmed a video here!
4. Bluetooth speaker.
I love listening to music whilst chilling on holiday; whether it's in my earphones or through a speaker at the beach. The UE roll is a must have for me since I used it whilst travelling last year. The sound is amazing for such a small speaker. It's also waterproof so is perfect for being around water. It's pretty much THE perfect holiday tech essential.
5. DSLR.
My DSLR goes with me pretty much everywhere. I always get asked questions regarding what camera and lenses I use and I will do a post on this in the future. I use a Nikon D5100 which is a very old model now but as with all photography; your lens choice is the most important thing. I'll be taking my 50mm and 35mm lenses as these are perfect for outfit and food photography!
6. Tripod.
It's not always the best idea to rely on other people to shoot your outfit photos whilst on holiday. Together with the hot weather and general laid back approach; it was tough getting everything that I wanted shot done by the end of my holidays last year. Therefore, I've decided I'll be taking my tripod away this year which is a super light one so is perfect for travelling with weight restrictions. I got it from eBay about 4 years ago for around ten pounds.

Elsie is six and a half months old now and is still hyperactive, mischievous and a huge princess! In most cases, Elsie is never home alone however sometimes she can be alone for around 4 hours a day before someone arrives home again. So, when Ruffle Snuffle got in touch to ask if Elsie would be interested in reviewing one of their pet play mats; Elsie was super excited and woof'd YES!
The Ruffle Snuffle mat is a play mat designed specifically for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pig and horses. Created by animal behaviourist, Sarah White, each Ruffle Snuffle is individually hand made by her and her team of animal lovers.
So, what does it do?
The Ruffle Snuffle is essentially a play mat that has several layers of different coloured felt strips. At the base is a matt with holes in which are designed to hide treats or biscuits in which your pet has to hunt out!
The mat is a great for dogs and puppies especially who get bored easily. This is why it was the perfect product for Elsie to try out because she gets bored very easily... so much so, she has bit a hole through a hole in our house, chewed the kitchen cupboards etc. However, that's a story for another day!
We hid some of her doggy treats inside the mat and put it to the test. Being a labrador retriever, it's in Elsie's ability to be able to sniff out food within seconds... and demolish it too! She found all of the treats within seconds but I should imagine if you have a younger puppy or a smaller dog then the 'game' will last a lot longer.
The Ruffle Snuffle retails at £29.50 and comes in a whole range of different colours. Obviously, Elsie wanted the pink Belle Ruffle Snuffle* but there's many more colours to choose from.
I would say the Ruffle Snuffle is a great concept for young puppies, smaller dogs and cats. I should imagine a horse would love it too but sadly I'll never own a pet horse!
Disclaimer: The Ruffle Snuffle was sent to Elsie for reviewing purposes. However, all words, opinions and photographs remain my own.
I was recently asked if there's a room in my home that I would like to improve and straight away my office came to mind. No matter how many times I've tried to improve it; I'm just never completely happy with it.
The room is 75% bedroom and 25% office so it's small and hard to work with because I have a double bed. Therefore, office space is limited and I could often be found working from the comfort of my bed or the dining table downstairs for a bit of extra space. Not ideal for someone who gets bad back ache quickly due to slumping. My MacBook also gets quite hot from working on my lap so it was time to think about switching up elements of the office to make it work better for me.
My last office space post featured a chest of drawers as my work surface which wasn't ideal because there was no room for my legs. It was time for me to finally buy a proper working desk!
Updating any room in the home doesn't come cheap but with saga equity release, it makes things much easier and cheaper for you to unlock a proportion of the value of your home in exchange for a tax free lump sum. Did you know that home improvements are actually the most common use for money generated through equity release?
I took a trip to IKEA with a friend with a car (they are rare and very much appreciated) and after walking around pretending demo rooms were our house and lusting after lamps and rugs that we didn't need; it was time to check out the desks.
The MICKE range has desks that come in different sizes so I was super pleased to find they had the perfect size desk* for me of 73 x 50cm for just £39. It fits perfectly in the corner of my office area and means I can actually work at a desk with my legs underneath like they're supposed to be!
They took around 3 hours for me to put together (all by myself might I add!) and it was fairly easy to follow the picture instructions.
My storage is much more organised now. Base makeup and lip products live in the first drawer, eye makeup and pallets in the second, skin care in the third and underwear in the next two drawers. In the deep drawers, I have a drawer full of socks and one dedicated to PR samples. Then there's one for PJ's and finally the bottom drawer has my hair heat tools in. I store my actual hair products in different a different storage system.
Everything is much more organised and it makes me work more productively than I ever have before. I love having a desk to work from. I haven't worked from my bed since I improved my work area so it's been nice separating my working area from my bed which is to relax on.
I also picked up one of those plastic plants which is making an appearance in a lot of flatly photographs at the moment. So simple yet to effective!
Having more surface areas aswell means I've been treating myself to some flowers to brighten up the room. These lilies cost me just £3 and are still going strong after a week. There's something about having flowers near you whilst working that makes you feel a lot more motivated and positive!
... And that's it! My new and improved office that only cost a maximum of £135! All I need to do now is buy a new (and more comfortable) chair but that can be purchased later down the line. I would also like some new wall art but I need to find some that I really like.
Here's to one new happy little office! I'm super happy with it for the first time in ages!

When I was a teenager, smoking wasn’t considered an unusual act. Back in those days, people were not much aware of the side effects of smoking cigarettes. Cigarette companies were allowed to advertise their brand products and they never bothered to inform people how dangerous smoking actually is for teenagers or any age group.
These days, the trend of smoking combustible tobacco cigarettes is comparatively a lot less among teenagers but there is a new smoking technology in the market that has become a parental concern. E-cigarette usage is the fastest growing trend among teenagers these days, and the latest study has revealed that the usage of e-cigs has increased three times as compared to the last year.
1- From Smoking to Vaping
Powerful tobacco giants claim the largest share of the e-cigarette market. So it is easy for them to invest money in false advertisements claiming that e-cigarettes, with their harmless water vapor, are a safe option as compared to the regular combustible cigarettes. On the contrary, independent researchers have claimed that the ingredients in e-cigs can be a potential health threat, especially for teenagers. With ongoing research being done, it important for the parents to be well-informed about all the potential dangers this new addictive habit can bring to their children.

2- Is Vaping Carcinogenic?
A research named, “A Smoking Gun: Cancer-Causing Chemicals in E-Cigarettes” was carried out by Center for Environmental Health (CEH) by testing almost 100 e-cigs and other related products. The research indicated that more than 90% of the brands, whose vaping products were studied, offered at least one product capable of producing carcinogenic chemical like formaldehyde. But then again, formaldehydes are present in the environment we breathe in because of the exhaust from the automobiles, power plants, and other manufacturing industries. It is impossible to dodge this chemical because it is present in a variety of household items like cosmetics, vitamins, processed foods, furniture, washing powder, paints and the list goes on.

3- We’re Still Dealing with Nicotine
Nicotine intake is linked to a lot of health issues, especially reproductive problems that can be more serious for young women. According to a report, compiled by reviewing the date of past 50 years, smoking during pregnancy can be a major cause of serious birth defects including deformed skull and limbs, and clubfoot. Although a lot of people switch to vaping so they can quit smoking. A lot of e-juice flavors are offered in different nicotine concentrations that allow a user to gradually decrease their nicotine intake without feeling any withdrawal sickness.

4- Vaping: A Smoking Alternative or a Doorway?
Most of the e-cig marketing campaigns emphasize that vaping is the way out of combustible-tobacco-based cigarette smoking but the researchers have claimed the otherwise. According to a research carried out in 2014, people who vape are less likely to quit smoking. But if you take a look at those hundreds and thousands of people who actually have left smoking because of the fact that they switched to vaping then you can’t help but blame the game instead of the players.

5- Harmful Effects of Vaping on Young Teenagers
Extremely high rates of nicotine poisoning related to the usage of e-cigarettes and related products are expected by poison control centers. The records show that the number of nicotine poisoning incidents has boosted by 13 times, from 2011 to 2014, and a lot of the related victims were under the age of 5 years old. The main reason behind children of such small age getting attracted towards vaping products is the sweet bubble gum and candy flavors that these e-cigarettes have to offer.

A lot of websites like Simply E-Liquid, that supply e-cigs and other related accessories, do not allow kids under the age of 18 to even visit there website. You can’t place an order for an e-cig or an e-juice if you are under-age, so from here, it becomes the responsibility of the parents to keep an eye on their kids and explain to them that vaping is nothing about being cool. It’s a way for a lot of people to switch from a harmful thing to something that eventually helps them get over their nicotine dependency.

When summer arrives at our door step along with it comes a new sense of freedom and (mentally crosses everything) sunshine too. But whilst the glorious sunshine is a great excuse for all the ice cream and cocktails you can manage, you can actually keep it relatively healthy too.
Summer is the event of the year. Crammed full of exciting plans and probably a bit of indulgence too, but if you want to keep your health in check then this quick guide to the summer events of the season should help keep you on track for your best summer yet!
A two week jaunt abroad each year is what the majority of us work towards when we’re putting in the hours at our usual 9 to 5, and if the thought of a break leaves you running for the sun lounger quicker than Usain Bolt ever could then you deserve all the ice cream you can find.
Of course you want to make the most of the sunshine whilst on holiday but basking in the sun like a lizard all day without the right sun protection could mean you are doing some SERIOUS damage to your health. Make sure you know your sun lotion factors and never go in the sun without at least an SPF 30 on.
Weekend Festival
Experiencing music live is an experience you simply can’t beat, combine that with a few of your BFFs, a sunshine filled field, plus a cider fueled afternoon and you’ve got yourself one heck of a weekend going on.
But whilst festivals are full of indulgence you don’t need to completely lose sight of the health brigade. Remember to alternate your alcoholic drinks with water and eat foods which will keep you going for longer – yay to more energy for dancing! If you’re a smoker then consider switching to electronic cigarettes. Not only are they better for your health but they’re better for the environment too, after all no one wants to smell of tobacco and festival grime do they?
Picnic Time
When the sun does decide to show its pretty little face here in the UK it’s time to explore the great outdoors and grab a spot at the nearest park. Picnics are so quintessentially British and with a glass of Pimms in hand there’s no better way to while away an afternoon.
Whilst packing your picnic hamper full of deliciously naughty treats there’s plenty of healthy outdoor treats you can prepare in advance – don’t worry they’ll taste just as good promise. Thanks to the rise of the super foodie bloggers the popularity of being healthy has never been higher and recipes can be easily found on their Instagram pages. If you’re stuck for inspiration then this article has loads of yummy ideas.
The Gym
In summer we all want to look and feel out best but if the thought of exercising indoors leaves you feeling bored then get into the great outdoors instead. Summer makes us all want to get more active and a big old run around outside in the fresh air can help to blow away those winter cobwebs.
Bike rides are often the summer activity of choice. Perfect for grabbing your friends, partner and family all together for a little expedition. Plan your route and stop off at your local pub – well you’ve got to have a little indulgence haven’t you!
Now that your healthy summer plans are all sorted; all that’s left to do is to pray for more sunshine!
I have seen Jewellery Box pop up on various blogs recently and have fallen in love with so many pieces on there. Based in South London, Jewellery Box sell real jewellery at costume jewellery prices. Personally, I'm not much of a jewellery person so I buy the odd piece here and there but very rarely. This means that most pieces I have are a costume jewellery prices and won't last for very long!
Jewellery Box kindly asked me to choose a piece from their website and I couldn't resist these gorgeous 9ct white gold twisted hoops. They retail at just £39 which is an amazing price for white gold. I have been wearing them non stop since I got them and they are so comfortable in the ears. Due to wearing costume earrings most of the time, I have to take them out before sleeping and bathing. However, I have no worries in the world when it comes to these beauties!
They are only 2mm thick so are very light and at a sensible size so are perfect for every day wear. I have been loving wearing them and have already got a few birthday present ideas for people in my family. You can't beat good quality jewellery at such affordable prices!
Disclaimer: Product was sent to me in consideration for a feature on my blog. All opinions and photographs are my own.
Pay day is around the corner and Summer is upon us so that only means one thing... never ending wish lists of things to buy for holidays and festivals!
1. It's no secret around these parts that 1) I love a jumpsuit and 2) I love anything with a wide leg fit. So, whilst having a browse around Love The Sales, I came across this gorgeous red number from the Vero Moda sale for just £32! Love The Sales is a website that features hundreds of different brands across men's, women's and kid's fashion, home, sports and electronics. All the items featured are ALL in the sale; meaning you can shop till your heart is content knowing that you aren't breaking the bank; as much.
2. I've been putting off buying this bikini set from Topshop for weeks now; simply because I have too many bikinis already. However, the strappy triangle shape really appeals to me, as does the caged look to it. It's also great that you can buy the top and bottoms separately if you have different sizes like me! Well done Topshop!
3. I love the look of these flat form sandals due to the platted straps making them a perfect match with denim shorts or dresses this summer. I envision wearing them with so many items in my wardrobe and at a great price of only £50 from River Island; they are a must-have on my wish list at the moment !
4. I am currently in the midst of looking for the perfect bag for my travels this summer. I am going away for a whole month so I need something big enough to throw my daily essentials into but also roomy enough for slightly larger items such as my camera and lenses. This beautiful and multicoloured aztec woven bag from New Look seems to be the one. I may have to pick it up this weekend!
5. Quiz Clothing have a fabulous range of girly going out dresses available at the moment. From sophisticated midi and bodycon dresses to the slightly more playful prom dresses, there's guaranteed to be something from everyone. I've been looking for a nice evening dress to take away on holiday and the cream coral and black contrast midi dress really caught my eye due to the different colour panels.
What's currently on your wish list? Are you diggin' any of the items above?
The benefits of having a little job in a fashion store means that I have eagle eyes when it comes to morning deliveries. The morning I unpacked these little pink bad boys was the same day I decided to purchase a pair for myself from River Island. Despite them looking like they would be hanging up in Professor Umbridge's wardrobe, I couldn't wait to let the trousers do the talking...
They have a super flattering high waisted and wide leg fit which is my absolute favourite in trousers. The bubblegum pink is certainly in your face but teamed with a black bralet top from Primark, a black bomber jacket from H&M and some black platforms to finish everything off nicely.
I'm quite smug faced to say I've had this sweet little black bomber for a few years and now they have managed to hit the UK high street shops once again.
Yet another pair of shades from Cheap Ass Sunglasses; these ones are super big, super round and very much like something Willy Wonka himself would wear. They have quite a 60's style about them which I absolutely adore!
However, they are definitely a statement piece which I would find hard to style in any other way. So, I very much doubt they will be making a re-appearance on my blog so let's just appreciate all their beauty whilst they're here. Pink and in your face!

It’s been more than 50 years since we discovered that smoking can kill you. In 1962, the Royal College of Physicians presented a detailed report on the dangers of smoking and the number of people smoking has since been cut in half. If you aren’t a smoker, then you probably have the RCP to thank!
But even in the year 2016, most of us still know someone who smokes. Maybe a grandparent, a friend or a work colleague. In fact, there are still 9 million people who smoke in the UK, and sadly half of these people will die of smoking-related diseases. In this day and age, it’s a real tragedy that some of us are still losing loved ones to smoking-related diseases.
You might be thinking to yourself “why don’t these smokers just quit?”. The truth is that it’s exceptionally hard to quit smoking; much harder than many of us non-smokers realise. You may be able to quit for a little while by going cold turkey, but the long-term success rate for cold turkey quitters is super low — between 3 and 5%.
If you take twenty smokers and ask them to try and quit cold turkey, only one of them will succeed.
But in the last few years, we’ve seen something strange happen. Not only are smoking rates falling, but they’re falling faster than ever before. The male smoking rate is at the lowest level ever recorded, which has to be good news!
These low smoking rates are undoubtedly tied to a new trend — vaping. Vaping doesn’t contain tobacco, so vapers don’t end up with carbon monoxide in their bloodstream or tar in their lungs. E-cigarettes can contain nicotine, but vapers are able to choose a level which suits them, from similar to cigarette strength right the way down to zero. This is important because it means that a vaper who wants to quit smoking can gradually adjust their nicotine intake all the way down to nothing, if that’s what they’d like to do.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll be worrying about whether vaping is safe or not. Could vaping simply be the new smoking? It’s a good question, and thankfully it’s not one that we have to attempt to answer by ourselves. The Royal College of Physicians, the same people who exposed the dangers of smoking back in 1962, have written up a two-hundred-page report on vaping. And the results are great news.
The RCP has found that vaping is 95% less harmful than smoking, which is the same thing that Public Health England found last year. They also found that vaping is not ‘re-normalising smoking’ and that e-cigarettes can be an effective quitting aid. This means that smokers who swap over to vaping are doing their health a huge favour — and they don’t have to struggle cold turkey either!
If you are a smoker who would like to quit (or simply know someone who is struggling to quit smoking), I hope that you find this post useful. Below I’ve included an infographic from the Electric Tobacconist on how vaping is saving lives.

It's no secret around these parts that I love James Bay so I was super excited to get tickets to see him live at Brixton Academy in September last year. I didn't take along my camera, so reviewing the gig on my blog never quite happened. However, I do have a few photos from the night and a lot of amazing highlights to share with you so I thought I finally would put thoughts and opinions to type?!
The day Chaos and The Calm launched in the UK was the day I rushed out to go and buy it. You can read my full review on his album and find out for yourself what to expect with his music but I'm sure you already know the majority of his tunes!
I hadn't been to a gig in AGES when I went to see him. I managed to wriggle pretty much front row with my sister and I didn't stop beaming from ear to ear from the moment he walked on until the moment he walked away and the lights went off.
The highlight of the night was Ronnie Wood from The Rolling Stones making a surprise appearance to sing (You Know) I'm Losing You with James himself. Ronnie's guitar solo was terrific and really made the audience go wild. As soon as James got back on the guitar and took over, I knew that their collaboration was not only for the gig but they had formed a strong friendship since Ronnie awarded James an award at the GQ Moty 2015 Awards.

I have treasured the photos and videos I took from the night and James Bay has remained one of my firm favourite artists of 2015 and even this year too! I'm so excited for him to release his next album and to hopefully catch him at some festivals this summer!

This ribbed jumpsuit really caught my eye a few weeks ago so when a shopping retailer got in touch to ask if I'd like to try their service, I decided to finally order this jumpsuit*.
Octer is one of them shopping websites AND apps that you can shop from all in one place. It shows everything on one website and lets you click through to the direct item from the retailer's website ready for purchase. You can be going on holiday and purchase your entire suitcase from Octer. They stock items from 200 UK brands including the likes of Missguided and ASOS - amazing, right? In just 3 taps, you can browse over 500 different typical search terms that we all search when buying bits online. They also not only stock fashion but kids, home, technology and beauty gifts too.
I also decided to style my new super cool shades* from Cheap Ass Sunglasses. They have a rather exaggerated cat eye frame which I'm not even sure it suits me that much, but I can only try and pull them off! ;) The website has a wide range of on trend sunglasses at very cheap prices. Shipping only took a few days too so I am very impressed and will definitely be ordering from there in the future!
The jumpsuit itself is so comfortable and cosy and perfect for the weather in the UK at the moment - absolutely freezing and so very grey! If you know me, you'll know I love anything with a culoutte or wide leg fit which is what drew me to this white number! I decided to upsize due to the ribbed material and I'm glad I did. The material on the arms is quite tight but not uncomfortable. I decided to pair it with my favourite funky shoes at the moment; my Kurt Geiger LULU flatforms* which are statement in their own right!
Octer is one of them shopping websites AND apps that you can shop from all in one place.
