magic wand bubble bar £4.95
snow fairy shower gel £6.25 (250g) - there are smaller and bigger versions!
... bought some things! The lead up to Christmas means one thing. Lush stock up and offer limited edition christmas goodies but I've never tried any of them; until now! On a small shopping trip with my mum last week, I popped into my local Lush to have a look what's on offer. I know so many people adore the infamous snow fairy. I remember Emma mentioning it in a video a little while ago and I then added it to my never-ending "need to buy this asap" shopping list.
candy mountain:
I had high hopes for this. It claims to give "mountains of candy foam" but I didn't find it did much other than turn my bath a weird colour; literally in-between pink and green. It smells delicious though. I really wanted to eat it! However, I wouldn't re-purchase.
magic wand:
I remember everyone loving this last year so I thought I'd pick one up. The really helpful sales assistant actually recommended it to me and as I had snow fairy in my hand, she told me the magic wand is the perfect partner for snow fairy as they have the same scent. Plus it has a ribbon and a bell. Who wouldn't want one?! I'm really loving my bubble baths using this. It's really easy to use; just 'swish' it around the bath whilst it's running and watch the bubbles grow and the water turn pink. It smells soooo good too! (I'm rubbish at describing scents, but go check it out.. now.)
snow fairy:
I dived into the deep end here and purchased the medium size bottle. I couldn't face the regret of purchasing a small one, loving it then using it up and feeling depressed having a normal bath. Then again, I could of hated it and wasted my money, but life's all about risks, right? It literally smells like sweets, candyfloss and cherry all in one, with small glitter particles inside. Although I should add, the glitter doesn't cling to your body as I was praying it wouldn't (hate products like that, ew). It simply smells divine and I will definitely buy another couple before they disappear till next Christmas!

Last week, I came home to find the best gift I could ask for right now; a diary/planner/notebook! I really needed one as I kept forgetting about things I was doing and my life is generally unorganised and messy! I've always bought a little diary notebook at the start of every year which only gets used for about a week before I forget about it and things I'm meant to be doing on certain dates! Luckily, this one starts as of December 2012, so I can use it pretty soon! Actually so excited. This is how lame I am.
The Scribble House are a family run business who take pride in the quality of their products; supplying luxurious leather presents and stationary.
I was allowed to choose any design so I went for the black croc one for a little simplicity and class! I love the fact it has rounded corners which means no dog eared pages - huge thumbs up from me! It's real leather with gold page detailing. It features a yearly calender in the front which I'm going to use as my blog schedule plan (proper getting organised aren't I?!). Each week has a page next to it for extra notes which is really handy for quick on-the-go Uni notes; whilst a handy little tube map, language translations and mathematics conversions towards the back are a huge plus! Even though it is a little pricey, I do 100% recommend The Scribble House, not just for high-quality products, but for presentation (it came in a gift box), super fast delivery and excellent customer service.
What with Christmas around the corner, a little diary would make any girl happy I bet! Hint hint to any boyfriends, brothers and husbands reading this!

001: Tim Gutt came into Uni this week and gave a lecture. Mixed reviews from everyone about him and his work but overall I adored his work. He's worked with the likes of British Vogue which is just amazing. So inspiring.
002: I've already updated the world about Andrew, but he cooked me a lovely meal on Wednesday night and we had fun baking an oreo and buttercream filled cake; which was as yummy as it sounds! It's really strange saying 'I have a boyfriend'. I've almost got used to being on my own but now it's all changed, but I'm so, so happy. 2012 has been the worst year ever so this is a happy ending for me.
I should probably mention how we met. We both work together and even had our induction day together two years ago! We never really spoke in work other than the occasional 'hello', so it's mad to think now after two years of standing next to eachother on a till serving popcorn, or emptying the bins out the back, that we're in a relationship. You can imagine everyone's reactions at work when they found out - crazy! I feel so comfortable around him which is so strange as it usually takes me a long while to completely open up to a person and feel content. I was only having this conversation with Gee last week!
003: I had a car accident on Friday as I was about to join onto a dual carriageway on a sliproad. Ironically, I tweeted half hour before my lesson that I was bound to crash due to not driving for five weeks. Jinxed?! It completely 100% wasn't my fault though. I froze after it happened thinking it was my fault but my driving instructor assured me it wasn't. I've hurt my shoulder but it could have been worse! The man who crashed into me was driving way too fast and didn't appear to understand the correct stopping distance. His car's bonnet completely caved in, whilst the car I was driving was fine other than a few dents in the boot's door and the back bumper. Just proves how fast the man was driving due to the impact to his car!

I've never tried any ghd products so I was really excited when this arrived on my door step a few weeks ago. After checking out the website, I was surprised at just how many hair products online that they have to offer! My mum and sister both have ghd hair straighteners which they love, but I rarely straighten my hair so I'm a bit late on the bandwagon! I was kindly sent the style and protect gift set; featuring a sturdy paddle brush, two crocodile clips (not pictured), straight and smooth spray and a final shine spray.
paddle brush:
I don't really brush my hair as disgusting as that sounds and if I do I just use a cheap primark hair brush but I've definitely loved trying out a more luxurious hair brush. It's super sturdy unlike primark ones which don't tend to last that long!
crocodile clips (not pictured):
These have actually come in pretty handy! I find it a bit annoying in the mornings when I'm applying foundation when it tries to stick to the wispy bits of hair at the front of my face, so it's been easier to pull back the sides with these two clips!
straight and smooth spray:
I haven't used this that much. As I mentioned above, I rarely straighten my hair but I'm definitely going to try to use this a little more as I'm intrigued if it actually keeps my hair 'straight and smooth' like it claims to! So I may do a review in the near future if I like it :-)
final shine spray:
Firstly, this has a really nice scent! Thumbs up! I've been using this when I wave my hair using the enrapture totem styler as a last minute spray before heading out the door. I find it stops my curls from fizzing and going wispy; keeping them smooth and indeed emphasising the shine!
For the price, I think this would make a fab Christmas gift for any lady who loves to indulge her hair in products. I would totally get one for my mum but she's not really into lotions and potions!

disney mermaid pocket tee - the pocket co (limited edition)
Clever old Albert Einstein quote right there. It's almost 7pm. I've been home since 2pm and I haven't stopped smiling since. Are you wondering why? Well... I have a boyfriend! :-) If you've been reading my blog over the past couple of weeks, I've mentioned 'Andrew' in a few weekly posts and well now it's official. Perfect.
Hope everyone's having a lovely week? I have a two hour driving lesson tomorrow on country lanes (scary). I haven't driven for 4/5 weeks now due to life doing its worst and getting in the way, so I'm terrified I've forgotten how to drive. Is that even possible? My Nanna got her hospital results yesterday and it isn't good news but we are all trying to stay strong, positive and wait for further results next week.
song of the day.

Off to a photo-shoot · Cinema (outfit) · Lazy morning with Andrew ♥ · Soppy tweets
001: I've not done anything remotely interesting this week. I'm stressing out with the amount of Uni work I'm behind on, the constant deadlines that seem to creep up sooner than I realise and my nanna's not very well. Bit of a crap week in all honesty, but next week will be better, I hope!
002: Finally got round to shooting some images for my self-portraiture project which I will eventually get around to sharing. I still need to sit down and blog what my assignments are actually about!
003: I went to see Skyfall on Thursday which was actually pretty good. I've never seen any Bond films and completely judged them not to be ~my type of film~ but I was proven wrong!

I have a feeling this winter's going to be a cold one, so I'm looking around for a coat to buy. I'm guilty of wearing thin jackets that don't keep me warm at all, just to match a certain outfit. So, I've promised myself that I will invest in a real coat in time for the frosty months!
I love numbers one and five because of the (p)leather detailing. I really wanted the (p)leather sleeved khaki jacket that such places as primark, topshop and misguided sold, but everyone has it which put me off. Plus, I have so much khaki in my wardrobe it's a little ridiculous. I really love number four but think it will be a little too long for me. It looks absolutely gorgeous on Emma Watson though. I really love number two which is different to the rest and just screams out CHRISTMAS, but I think I may go for either number one, three or five.
Have you invested in a winter coat yet?

Last night (14th Nov) was the very last premiere for the Twilight saga. Breaking Dawn part 2 is officially released into UK cinemas tomorow (16th Nov), with some midnight preview screenings at selected cinemas. I'm not ashamed in the slightest to say I love the Twilight saga; both the films and books. I am more of a Harry Potter fanatic however.
Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and (the beautiful) Robert Pattinson arrived at the red carpet in Leicester Square last night to a staggering 6000 crazy twi-hards (or fans if you've been living under a rock for the past four and a half years).
Robert Pattinson wore a Burberry suit to the premiere however said, "I have a stylist, but I choose what I wear."
Taylor Lautner looked very dashing in his suit. He was extrememly thankful for every fan that has turned up to support them over the years and for everyone who has enjoyed watching the films. When asked what he thinks about the last instalment to Twilight, he said: "I think they're going to love it. There are going to be a few fans who are blown away. It's an exciting ending but it's a very emotional one. It's the perfect ending to the saga."
... and not forgetting Kristen Stewart's choice of outfit! A lacy and sheer Zuhair Murad jump-suit. Exposing her back shows the sexy side of the outfit, whereas the purposeful-almost-heart-shaped panels on the bum and legs show the more tasteful side. It's very different compared to the dress she wore for the LA premiere but I think I like it! (I love her Japan premiere outfit too)
Was you lucky enough to attend the premiere? What do you think of Kristen's outfit? Let me know below!

& need your help!
I entered a competition run by e-tailwebstores (see my entry here) to win a £200 Glamorous voucher. Well, I was emailed today that my entry's been shortlisted along with another nine entries. However, the competition is tight! So many lovely entries.
All entries have been uploaded onto the Glamorous Facebook page and the entry with the most likes wins the £200 voucher! There are also two runners up who win an item from the Glamorous website.
If you could head on over to my entry by clicking this link and 'liking' it, I would appreciate it so, so much! (maybe even share it too if you're feeling super generous!) Thank you if you do! x

Clothingloves is an online wholesalers offering wholesale women's clothing and affordable items for both men and women. They have a huge range of clothing for both genders and even stock wedding dresses (this is gorgeous). Based overseas, they offer such items for people all over the world. There's no minimum purchase required which makes it a firm favourite website of mine to ponder over.
The four items above are my favourites! My ears have finally healed so I'm loving looking at new earrings to buy. I love the eyeball ones. I know Topshop had similar ones a few months ago, but I never had my ears pierced back then and now I can't find them! ): I don't know why I don't already own a silver spiked bracelet or a gold (prefarbly rose gold) hooped style necklace. Both have been everywhere for ages but I've just never picked either one up!

:) · firework night · treats · photo-shoot location · hello! · shooting · new favourite song!
001: Blogging late but I hate to be out of my Sunday schedule and as a new week begins as of tomorrow, I'm going to post this anyway!
002: I spent firework night with the boy in my life. I feel like it's time to maybe address who my indirect tweets are about i.e "with my boy", "can't wait to see my boy today" etc. His name is Andrew but that's all I'm saying for now! We've spent most of this week together and I swear I haven't stopped smiling/laughing. Yay. I'm a very happy girl :-) - The fireworks were actually pretty decent! So glad I wore a coat though as it was freezing and it was actually the first night of the year (I'm not including January, okay!) that I've dug out my gloves... frosty!
003: Finally managed to start shooting for my second assignment which I've not spoken about at all. I will in more detail soon but I'm shooting self-portraiture round my dad's house which is where I lived from about 7 till 10.
004: Vince Kidd's EP 'Sick Love' has finally been released and I love it! (Well, i love him). I think he's an absoulute gem and if you haven't heard it where have you been? Go check it out now!
Any of you heading to Motel Rocks Christmas blogger's party? I will be there!

One of my Uni assignments is free reign so I am shooting men's fashion. You may have seen the beginning of the project as I shot some street style the same week (here).
The model I used is my friend's boyfriend Jack. I was originally going to use around 6 different guys for the series but I've decided to cut it down to just Jack as he's easy to work with and reliable.. the two most important things for any budding photographer!
The images are digital, although my final submission has to be shot on film so this was just a test shoot really, more for documentation for my blog and research journal. My friend got in one shot as I was trying to experiment using both a male and female, however I will be only using Jack for the final submission.
After a review with my tutor, I've decided I'm going to try and find a less stereotypical location to use for the final shoot but I'm still looking around for a good location. I'm trying to find a shabby, dirty hotel/b&b to use; wolfgang tillmans style.. I've found two but am yet to hear back from them. I really want to use the woods and get smoke bombs though! Six weeks left to do it all!

E-tail webstores are currently holding a competition for bloggers only until the 12th November. All you have to do is pick items from the Glamorous website to create a 'dream outfit' for no more than £200, then create a collage, upload onto a new blog post and send your entry over to emily@e-tailwebstores.com. The top 10 entries will be uploaded onto the Glamorous Facebook page and the one with the most 'likes' wins! The winner will receive a £200 gift card to spend at Glamorous. My main entry is the first collage, although I made an extra two as it's a fun competition!
LOOK ONE:
I'm currently trialling a pair of the disco pants by Glamorous and if they're just as good (or near enough) then I think I will by the whole colour range they offer! I love these red ones. They're my favourite colour, great for the festive period and very statement. The shirt is something I thought would go really well although I would wear my moschino X peace belt and tuck it in at the front (like i did here) just to create some shape. A leather jacket never fails and nor does a simple black bag (which I really do need in my life!)
LOOK TWO:
Halloween's been and gone but all in all, I love the gothic trend which re-occurs all the time. I love the metallic trend aswell and think this skirt is perfect to mix up both trends in one. The shoes are simply something I would wear ALL the time too! I went for a basic vest, but I would probably wear the leather jacket too.
LOOK THREE:
I think this is the most perfect outfit in the whole wide world. Or well, the dress is anyway. Why don't I have it in my life yet I ask myself? I have no idea is the answer! It's just beautiful! The 50s shape, the colour, cut and of course, the polka dots are just incredible. I don't think I could personally manage walking in the boots (Ashleigh doesn't get on well with heels you see..), but I think they clash in quite a nice way.
Would you wear any of these outfits? If you've entered this competition, send me the link below!
