Working from home can be challenging and I certainly found it very hard before I organised a dedicated office in my bedroom My first tip therefore, would be to work out a sensible and tidy work space that will allow you to work with freedom and space with as little mess and junk laying around as possible.
We all have personal style and tastes, so the interior taste I have might not be for you or you might even like a minimalistic approach when it comes to home design. However, for those of you who dream of having that Miranda Priestly style office, this is how to achieve it.
Head to spice world for the office with Mesh Chairs
We all know that the 90's has made a comeback to fashion and for good reason. Fashion retailers welcome back fishnet, mesh, neon colours and ugly trainers now being cool. So, if you fancy bringing back that sporty spice vibe into your office, you may want a mesh chair. The Malford mesh back operator chair is perfect for this style and comes in a range of different styles and colours. Pair with a mesh sports top from Blue Ivy at Topshop and these gorgeous mesh Missguided stilettos and head to Spice World... or work if that's what you prefer to call it.If you've got the sass and status set in stone, then you may want to show off your presence within your office as much as possible. For that, you may want to choose the York high leather chair, which has extra padding and support for ultimate comfort. Sit in this wearing thigh high boots and a pleather skirt with a body suit tucked in and you're set to turn heads in the office.
Maybe you're just like me and have your office/work environment within a shared room like a bedroom or living room. Therefore, you will not really require the same amount of space and professionalism that an office away from home would usually need.
If this is the case then you might prefer a wooden conference chair that can be easily tucked away or store out of the way when your office is not in use. Stay in your pyjamas all day (I mean, who wouldn't if you have an office at home?!) or slip into a light summer dress such as this Topshop shirred floral bardot dress. Pair with sandals and a straw bag, reply to emails and then whisk off to lunch with friends.
There we have it! Whether you have an office at work that you can style to be your own, or if you have your own office at home; this is exactly how you can make your office look bang on trend! Question is, what's your style?

So what a better time than this Summer for you to experience the ins and outs of Liverpool. I can't wait to get down there and walk about with my camera; taking in all the sights and sounds.
I thought it would be super cool to look into the city and see what it has to offer this Summer. It turns out that Liverpool is just as popular as many other cities in terms of things to do and places to see. I am hoping to experience some or all of these, so I thought I would share a friendly guide with you with what's on in Liverpool.
1. Visit the many musuems
Liverpool is home to a few different museums that all offer something different. From the Mersey Maritime to the Tate Liverpool; what could be better than a free entry for the entire family for a day out in the city?
2. Visit the Roxy Ball Room
The place to be for all ages and for anyone who likes fun. The Roxy Ballroom has ping pong, pizza and cocktails from 11-3pm everyday. The perfect place to duck into for a quick bite to eat or a beer.
3. Adventure Dock
If adrenaline is your thing, then you may want to wander over to the Adventure Dock - a 92 metre floating assault course! Simply climb into a wet suit and take on the inflatable slides and trampolines, whilst being careful not to fall into the water!
4. Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf
Fancy yourself a bit of indoor crazy golf? Then you need to head over to Jungle Rumble! Start by climbing the zig zag stairs on Paradise Street and you'll end up in the jungle, fighting monkeys and lions and hitting balls into holes. It's the place to be for the entire family.
5. Go on the Nature Trail
If you have kids aged 4-11, then you may want to head over to the Nature Trail whilst it's there. Part of Chavasse Park, kids have the opportunity to interact with the nature in front of them - all whilst learning new things as they walk around.
So many things to do in Liverpool that you will need the minimum of a weekend to really to get to grips of the city. This is only 5 of many wonderful things to do. I just don't know what to do first!

Back with another theatre review, I recently got the opportunity to head along to the Garrick Theatre in London to review Young Frankenstein.
Firstly, the Garrick Theatre is a small and more intense theatre. With excellent sound systems and lots more leg room and space between seats. The aisles are also wider which makes it much easier to nip out during the show to use the toilets.
In all honesty, I had no clue what the story was about. I knew it was dark and contained monsters, but I had never read much about it beforehand. However, to my surprise, it has ended up becoming one of the best musicals I have ever seen.
Young Frankenstein explores a story set in the 1930's, introducing doctor and professor of the brain, Frederick Frankenstein.
In short, he receives a message that he has inherited a castle in Transylvania that belongs to his late uncle, Viktor Frankenstein. Frederick decides to leave America and his estranged wife and heads to Transylvania.
The story explores an experiment that Viktor always wanted to do and he had recorded it in a book. The experiment involves planting a brain into a dead body and trying to bring it to life.
After thinking that the experiment has gone wrong and failed, the brand new Frankenstein is re-born and comes to life. However, with a mix up of brains and zero intelligence, the monster becomes a bit of a problem with the village locals. People want him dead AND Frederick for creating him.
Frederick Frankenstein meet a whole bunch of weird and wonderful characters along the way. Igor is the least hierarchal character - a somewhat slave meets personal assistant, who wants nothing more than to be accepted and praised by Frederick. Igor has a very comical slapstick kind of humour (and plays on a humpback which will always bring a smile to your face), which runs throughout the whole show. It becomes easy to tell that he is an audience favourite.
Next, there's the housekeeper and late ex-girlfriend of Viktor Frankenstein, Frau Blucher, played by the fabulous Lesley Joseph. With a very strong Transvlynaian accent and a somewhat Addams family esque image, she plays the strong female lead and looks after the castle.
Finally, playing one of the other main characters is Summer Strallen who plays the ditzy blonde, Inga. She drops a whole load of sexual innuendos (that would definitely go over a younger viewer's head) and sexual tension and so it becomes clear that a relationship will spark between her and Frederick. She becomes a girl with no purpose to a woman with purpose and intelligence.
Without spoiling the ending, new people fall in love and unexpected people save each other's lives. It's a fantastic story that really gets you gripped as soon as the opening line from Frederick has been said. I was laughing from start to finish and want to go back and see it again.
The stage set up is brilliant and deserves a mention in any review. Working with very little space on stage, it's very clever how they work with the space they have. Backgrounds changes quickly without you really realising. A fake brick wall gets smashed down at one point and it looks so realistic. There'a giant door with real knockers and they even have a scene that involves two horses driving a carriage - except the horses are played by people and there's a video background to show the speed that the horses move.
For something that I didn't think would be something I'd ever go and watch off my own back, it does go to show you that shows out of your ordinary choosing can surprise you. I'm honestly super impressed and cannot recommend it enough.

Red Letter Days read my very first post of 2018 in which I talked about my goals for the new year ahead. I mentioned that I wanted to try something that scares me, as I hate anything that involves risking my life, going upside down and water. I made it a goal of mine this year to conquer these fears and face them head on. Well, that's exactly what I did.
Cutting a long story short, a few years ago, my mum and I had a really bad experience at a water park abroad on holiday. I fell out of a plastic boat and very nearly fell out of very high water slide with a fish bowl feature. I ended up smashing my heading my head and my mum smashed her mouth. It's safe to say that I haven't stepped foot into a water park since and water sports are just off the cards. Or well, they were.
A few weekends ago, I headed over to the Royal Victoria Docks in East London to face that fear. At 5pm with the sun setting across London, I found myself climbing into a a submersible craft shaped and designed to look like a killer whale. Thankfully, it didn't kill me, but it did kill my inner fear of water mixed with speed.
When Red Letter Days challenged me take part in their #LiveaLittle campaign, I said yes straight away. They explained that the challenge would involve participating in the Seabreacher Watercraft experience with Predator Adventures. At the time I said yes, it seemed like an amazing idea. However, with a week leading up to it, followed by just a few days... and then the actual morning of the day, I was quite frankly almost pooping my pants. In fact, I was so scared and nervous about it that I told my boyfriend that he would have to do it if I pulled out last minute!
With a supercharged engine of 300 horsepower delivering speeds of up to 60mph, the ability to jump 18 foot into the air and plunge 5 meters deep into the water, it really is quite the ride. The experience is made to be just like a fighter jet with a driver/owner of Predator Adventures in the front and a cockpit style seat in the back for the person crazy enough to sit in it. Oh wait, that was me.
I soon found myself being buckled up into a life jacket and walking down the raft that leads to the boat. I then met Adam, the owner of Predator Adventures and he assured me that I would be safe in his hands. You can let him know if you want to go 'mild' or 'wild', so after explaining how and why I was so nervous, he agreed to go mild with me.
Sitting in the back is quite cramped and at 5 ft 5', I am not exactly the tallest of people. It can fit in a maximum height of 6 ft 5', but you should expect your knees to sit tight against your chest even at my height and with a harness style seat belt strapped across your chest for safety.
The first few minutes was absolutely fine...just strolling across the dock and out into an open bit of water where no other water sports were happening. Adam then closed the roof and asked if I was ready. I tried to GoPro the whole thing, but the battery died 5 minutes in, so I unfortunately didn't catch everything.

The whale like fins on the back of the craft allow it to turn 90 degrees from left to right. Adam then asked if I was ready to take our first dive and I closed my eyes and said yes. The engine powers through the water full speed and then plunges deep into the water. Being London waters, everything goes black and you can't see anything. It's the strangest feeling and you can't anticipate when you're going to launch 18ft into the air. However, we soon did and it's as if the world stopped for 2-3 seconds, before smashing back into the waters below.
Adam kept asking me throughout the experience if I was okay and think as I wasn't crying or screaming my head off, he felt comfortable enough to plunge into the waters another ten or twelves times. Totally fine though, as I had a whale of a time and returned to the docking bay with a big smile on my face.
I am so proud of myself for even making the journey over to the docks, let alone getting inside and having the ride of my life. I woke up that morning and was convinced I wouldn't be able to do it. I didn't feel mentally ready to face my biggest fear, but I did it and it's the greatest feeling knowing I've done it.
I honestly recommend this experience so much for anybody who loves water and adrenaline or maybe you want to face those two fears head on too! It isn't the cheapest experience to do; setting you back at £119 for one or £159 for a two person experience. Saying that though, it is a one in a million type of experience and it's the only one in the UK!

A huge thank you to Red Letter Days for allowing me to take part in this opportunity. I had so much fun and would definitely do it again!
For your information... the craft can hold a maximum of 17 stone (108kg) and 6ft 5' (198cm) - with an age restriction of 6 years and upwards. Not suitable for pregnant women or people with epilepsy, heart disease, back or neck problems.

You can watch the full weekend in my vlog!
Our day started pretty early travelling from Essex to London and then catching an hour long train to Oxford. We had time to grab some breakfast (bacon and sausage bagels, mmhmm!) and train snacks (always an essential when travelling with me) before boarding the train to Oxford.
Oxford is a city that I've never been to, but have always wondered about. According to my first post of the year, it is one of my goals to visit 12 new places either in the UK or abroad. Quite a big statement kind of goal to set yourself, but after visiting Amsterdam in March, I am now ticking number two off the list.
We mooched around the town of Oxford when we arrived, as we couldn't check into our hotel until 2pm. It gave me plenty of time to check out their Primark and I think it's the tidiest one I've ever shopped in! Of course, I came out with a bag full of stuff and then it was time to grab a hot chocolate (with cream and a flake) and a slice of caramel and chocolate shortbread from Costa.
We was booked into Premier Inn for two nights and cannot fault it. We had a comfortable night's sleep and unlimited breakfasts both days. Yum, yum.
On the first day, I wore my favourite dress in the world... my H&M x Coachella rainbow crochet one. It screams out festival and summer! I have also seen similar dresses for perfect festival and occasion wear at Reiss, depending on what you are looking for!
With VIP tickets to the Nook area, we had our own toilets with sinks! We also got premium food stalls and our very own bar which meant fewer queues.
It was really nice to meet the girls from W Communications North and the team at Snazaroo and of course... I got my face painted. I wasn't feeling brave enough for Spiderman or a tiger face, so I went for some flowers on the side of my face matching the colours in my dress. Even my boyfriend asked if he could have his done and got a cheetah pattern on the side of his face!
On the first day, the main line act came on at 9pm and the crowd anticipated their arrival. The Jackson
There was plenty of food options to keep you going from morning to night. With pasta, pizza, burgers, hotdogs, burritos and duck wraps; there was too much on choice to choose from. Important to mention, there was also a few different vegan van options selling things like falafel and houmous.
The second day was much hotter than the first, so I am glad I picked up some denim shorts in Primark the previous day. We definitely had way too many ciders in the sun and even enjoyed a ride on the spinning swings slightly tipsy.
The music acts also had a mix of big names Boney M, James and Sparks - not really music that I particularly listen to, but it was still nice to take a seat on the grass and watch people perform.
We honestly had such a lovely time in Oxford and recommend Common People festival as a festival to head to next year. It's made me think about visiting more festivals that are not near London, as they count as weekends away, so I'll tick off my 12 new visited places quicker, right?!
