HOW TO MAKE YOUR OFFICE LOOK BANG ON TREND

26/06/2018

If you run a business or you're lucky enough to have a spare room in your house for a home office, then when it comes to office chairs, you'll know exactly what I mean when it comes to importance of comfortable, Furniture at Work offer the most perfect range of office chairs.

Working from home can be challenging and I certainly found it very hard before I organised a dedicated office in my bedroom My first tip therefore, would be to work out a sensible and tidy work space that will allow you to work with freedom and space with as little mess and junk laying around as possible.

We all have personal style and tastes, so the interior taste I have might not be for you or you might even like a minimalistic approach when it comes to home design. However, for those of you who dream of having that Miranda Priestly style office, this is how to achieve it.

Head to spice world for the office with Mesh Chairs

We all know that the 90's has made a comeback to fashion and for good reason. Fashion retailers welcome back fishnet, mesh, neon colours and ugly trainers now being cool. So, if you fancy bringing back that sporty spice vibe into your office, you may want a mesh chair. The Malford mesh back operator chair is perfect for this style and comes in a range of different styles and colours. Pair with a mesh sports top from Blue Ivy at Topshop and these gorgeous mesh Missguided stilettos and head to Spice World... or work if that's what you prefer to call it.

If you've got the sass and status set in stone, then you may want to show off your presence within your office as much as possible. For that, you may want to choose the York high leather chair, which has extra padding and support for ultimate comfort. Sit in this wearing thigh high boots and a pleather skirt with a body suit tucked in and you're set to turn heads in the office.

Maybe you're just like me and have your office/work environment within a shared room like a bedroom or living room. Therefore, you will not really require the same amount of space and professionalism that an office away from home would usually need.

If this is the case then you might prefer a wooden conference chair that can be easily tucked away or store out of the way when your office is not in use. Stay in your pyjamas all day (I mean, who wouldn't if you have an office at home?!) or slip into a light summer dress such as this Topshop shirred floral bardot dress. Pair with sandals and a straw bag, reply to emails and then whisk off to lunch with friends.

There we have it! Whether you have an office at work that you can style to be your own, or if you have your own office at home; this is exactly how you can make your office look bang on trend! Question is, what's your style?

  1. If I had a home office, I would definitely stay in my pj's, unless I had to go out in the day. If I did, my style would be opting for comfy clothes, some casual trousers and a t-shirt.

  2. I have a desk and space in my spare bedroom but my boyfriend has taken that over so I do most of my work from the sofa which is pretty bad x
