Few images I shot a couple of weeks ago with a friend. Completely unplanned but I enjoyed experimenting with layout and wandering around back alleys. If anyone's looking for a photographer to shoot their outfits at LFW, get in touch. As long as I am allowed to use the images on my blog, I'm all for shooting fashion bloggers!
I was super lucky enough to be invited along to Missguided's SS14 press day which was yesterday held just off Bond Street, London. I finally met my #1 bloggin' babe, Charlotte Clothier in Oxford Street and we took a short walk to Bond Street in the rain and got lost countless times. The venue itself was in an alleyway just behind Bond Street so we swiftly arrived half an hour late but nevertheless, we had a fabulous couple of hours together!
The event was chilled and relaxed showcasing Missguided's SS14 collection which I cannot wait to get my paws on! Bold prints in bright colours such as pinks, oranges and purples were a popular re-occurance in the form of boxy-fit tops... my absolute fav!
A lot of white silk, organza and metallics in the form of a-line skirts and shift dresses are introduced to the collection. I absolutely love the metallic two-piece above but would never be able to pull such a thing off!
I totally fell in love with this denim jacket!
Me and Charlotte then got a drink and checked out the meringue stall which all looked like garlic cloves but each colour was a different flavour. I believe we had a raspberry one which was so good and just melted in your mouth!
We then hung out with another babe, Georgina. It's been long overdue to meet her and it was so good to finally tick that one off the list! We headed straight over to the photographer and took some photos. The ones he took are yet to be released but we had so much fun! There was even a polaroid wall and of course we totally got one done. Charlotte got way too happy over some fake dollars and Georgina loved her icy lolly. As for me? WHAT COOL SHADES!
We had to describe our style in one word as a hashtag. Mine is pretty simple! #WEARWHATEVER (yeh buddy!)
I don't really wear pink (no idea why) but i loved everything on this rail. Especially the little pink checkered cropped jumper. Oh, that will be mine! *hearts in eyes emoji* Some sports luxe has been added in too. I've seen leather jogger shorts in a few places recently and they are really tempting me. So wrong, but so right!?
Failing to bring a tripod with us, we relied on the good old thing called a self timer for some photos together. It worked though! Apart from me looking like a dinner lady. Sob.
I finally got to meet Robyn too who literally has the best job ever. Thank you to Robyn for inviting me! It was also lovely to briefly hang out with Kayla again (read her blog for years!), Leanne, Helen, Leigh, Chloe, Hayley, (again!) Tilly, and Zoe. Think that's everyone!
It was a fab event and I can't wait for the next one! Thanks Missguided! XO
Few things I picked up last week! Don't forget to head on over to my YouTube and subscribe! I am going to start making regular videos :-)
I'm working with the Jersey Tourist Board and the Jersey Travel Service to promote the island.  The beautiful isle of Jersey are some of the cleanest and well kept beaches, clearest waters and the mildest climate in the British Isles. Local produce means that herbs and minerals are selected from these natural sources and used in Seascape products.
I am partial to a pamper night so I was in my element when it came to trying out the bath foam. Containing 100% natural oils from Jersey Lavender, it helps to soothe and relax. The added Ylang Ylang ingredient helps with tension too. On my first try of using the bath foam, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of bubbles that emerged before my eyes. It was lush and lasted for around six baths. So sad it's all finished now!
The lip balm contains 100% natural oils from Peppermint with beeswax, honey and oil from Jojoba Seeds to moisturise dry lips. Something I was a little intrigued by! I have been using it every night before bed after my face is cleansed and lips are exfoliated. It's quite a weird texture. Much like a wax but with a very smooth and creamy consistency at the same time; leaving my lips feeling more kissable than ever.
If you are looking for some luxury bath and skin products, I really recommend the Seascape range. Although not the most cheapest of products, I think it's worth spending the extra pennies on products that leave you feeling and smelling like a pampered queen!

The best thing about having friends in the fashion industry is the benefit of being able to share invitations for events and getting some fab opportunities from it.
LCM (London Collections Mens) is now over and this post is long overdue but as usual I have been busy and so this post is only just going up today. I really need to work on timing better! I was originally at LCM to shoot for a magazine however plans changed and I ended up chilling in the press lounge with industry friends and taking in the sights of beautifully put together men. It was quite literally a dream for a single lady.
I went along to the Chester Barbie launch party which showcased their AW14 collection. Chester Barbie have a reputation for creating elegant formalwear for men. However, for their new collection they have really turned the tables around and have designer a more extent range. The AW collection for later this year consists of more laid back designs including the introduction of knitwear and casual outwear; keeping the expectations of pure luxury.
Sharp dressed men are the main influences for the new collection including Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. As I was walking around looking at the collection, I could really tell luxury and commitment to ongoing quality is an important factor to the brand.
A lot of cotton, cashmere, silk, velvet, wool and mohair materials are used for the new range which scream out pure luxury. Cleaner shapes are now an introduction to the brand's AW14 collection including a new range of 5 pocket jeans, bold collars and neatly turned back shirt cuffs. Key colours for the collection really replicate the colder months; teal, berry, charcoal, camel and a deep, rich navy. It's an exciting collection and it'll be interesting to see the more smarter man wear such a beautiful example of elegance.
Below are some photographs I shot of some guests at the launch party. Nothing too spectacular as it was SO busy but I thought I would share them anyway. At least I got a lovely photo of Louis Smith; the amazing British gymnast (third picture down). Doesn't he look pucker ladies?

ASOS Kimono | ASOS smock dress* | Topshop Boots
Bit of a late post due to Photoshop on my new Mac not saving images properly and omg, such stress! I'm currently sitting here listening to dude playing guitar which is the most soothing thing to listen to when blogging *smiles*. I usually listen to Ben Howard when I am blogging as it's background noise but it's quiet at the same time so I can hear myself think!
Onto the outfit...
I'm not too sure why I haven't already featured this dress and kimono/cardigan on here before. I got them towards the end of last summer so you might be able to find them in the sale now, possibly! The kimono is one of my favourite pieces in the whole of my wardrobe. I'm like a magpie when it comes to anything crochet; same with fluffy, furry and glitter. It goes with 85% of my clothes aswell which is always a bonus!
Today I actually did something different with my hair! SHOCKER! I am literally the laziest girl when it comes to experimenting with my hair. Colour wise, yeah I can experiment and try new things. But styling? Nah! However, I watched Olivia's video tutorial on how to do milk maid braids the other day and holy moly, it takes around five minutes to do and is something different to my usual look.
I'm off to the cinema now with dude to see Devils Due which I'm super excited about. I'm a bit of a strange one in the fact I love horror films. Hopefully it's a good'un!
Well, I don't know about you but January is such a tedious month so nothing cheers me up more than parcels of new clothes in the post. As we're only half way through the month, I thought I would offer all my lovely readers an exclusive 30% off discount code available at In Love With Fashion. Just use code LFA30 to redeem your 30% off!
After having a browse today at the 'new in' section, there a few things I really want. I actually haven't spent any of my birthday money yet (macbook does not count *wink*) so I may have to have a cheeky splurge soon. I am still loving tartan and whilst the print is still popular this season; checkered prints are timeless which is why I just can't get enough of it! I am absolutely head over heels in love with the boots too. Slightly bad ass looking, but nothing I can't handle! As far as I'm concerned... you can never have too many pairs of black boots!
Got your eye on anything?
