001: Overall, my first Glossy Box was 50/50. I'm really excited to try out the Brow Kit as I'm one of them people who spend ages perfecting my eyebrows and yes, I do fill them in as I think they shape my face and define my eyes more.
002: I'm not a fan of the perfume I'm afraid.. it's a very strong scent and reminds me of something an older woman would wear. Unfortunately, my Mother doesn't like it either so I'll probably end up throwing it away or I may include it in a small giveaway!
003: I haven't got round to trying out the shampoo & conditioner samples as of yet, but I'm really excited to. I re-bleached my hair last week to lighten the ombre so it's pretty damaged, dry and afro-like at the moment. I really don't want to end up getting it all chopped off, so I'm trying to condition my hair & give it some TLC as much as possible!
004: Again, I haven't used the oil yet, but I'm really excited to! I like the fact it's a versatile product that can be used on the face, body and hair. I'm wondering if it's just like Argan Oil.. so I'll fill you in when I use it :-)
005: I'm so confused about the balm. I thought it was some kind of lip product at first. My Mum tried it out.. and it made her lips go a tint of black! After reading about it, I gathered it's a balm for the skin. However, it has a really herbal, minty smell.. nothing like what I've smelt before. I don't think it's one of them things I will reach for.. however it retails at around £48 apparently!
I was a bit undecided whether or not to keep subscribing. I think I'll keep subscribed for my October box.. however if that's pants, then I'm going to unsubscribe. I think Glossy Box is a great company and the whole idea is a fantastic concept; however, I can tell a lot of things will either be thrown away, given away or not used.
P.s Hope you like the new look of my blog ;-)
