THE 30 DAY CHALLENGE WITH SQUAT MAGIC - MY HALF WAY THOUGHTS SO FAR

24/09/2017

At the beginning of August, I introduced you to a magic seat called Squat Magic. This is a squat machine that if used regularly (with a good diet too), can tone and lift your bum.

I started a 30 day squat challenge which was meant to see me squatting a certain number of times, every day for 30 days. I then said I would report back half way through with my thoughts and then do a final post at the end of the challenge. Unfortunately though, I had a slight injury on my knee from the gym a few days after publishing that post, so I had to leave my fitness regime for a while and let my knee recover.

A few weeks ago, I started the challenge from scratch all over again and this is now my mid-challenge update. I am going to save the before and after photos for the finishing post coming soon, but for now I just wanted to report back with my thoughts.

It's worth mentioning that I have stopped going to the gym temporarily as I am in the midst of changing over gyms. Therefore, the only exercise I have been actively doing is a lot of walking and using my squat machine.

I have been using the squat machine every evening before having a shower and going to sleep. I have been following the 30 day challenge poster that comes with the machine. It's taken me a while to get back into a fitness regime due to my break, but it can be difficult to hit 100 squats on your first few days. However, my body is used to going to the gym everyday, so I haven't found it that difficult to reach up to 300 squats in one sitting.

I haven't been using weights - but I intend to try using some resistance bands to increase the resistance between each squat. I use them a lot anyway and find they work great if you feel like you're not getting any results with just a pure stand alone squat.

I will report back next weekend with my overall thoughts and some before and after photos of my Squat Magic butt!  There will also be an EXCLUSIVE giveaway for ONE lucky person to win their very own Squat Magic seat!

Squat Magic is available now and retails at £79.99 exclusively at High Street TV.

  1. I've seen this advertised on FB, and I have to confess we had a right old giggle at it during our fitness class! I suppose if it works for folk than that has to be a good thing. Anything that gets folk moving. Me, I'll stick with the kettle bells. ;)

    1. It's pricey but so worth it for people who don't feel comfortable squatting at the gym.

    1. Haha, if you are watching a film or listening to a podcast, then you don't realise you've hit 300.

  8. I love the idea of being able to use this at home as I am not too confident in going to aq gym. I don't know if I could do 300 though! x

    1. Yeah, it's great for that! You build up the work in your legs, so 300 is quite do-able!
