Anarkali Indian, Hammersmith

303-305 King Street  London, Greater London W6 9NH

Recently, I popped along to an indian restaurant in Hammersmith called Anarkali. I haven't been for Indian food in soooo long so I was very excited! It's a little out of my way as I live in East London but sometimes the best places are worth the extra mileage.

The restaurant is located in a really nice part of London. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed how relaxed and quiet it was. Me and my guest was shown to our table and menus were presented to us; whilst napkins were placed on our laps - something I found so strange but was a lovely gesture!

I was like a fish out of water so just played it safe and ordered my favourite signature indian dish; chicken korma and pilau rice with peshwari naan bread. I love the sweet taste of peshwari even though I hate coconut, weird!

There was a little mix up with the bill at the end which was a little confusing however we left with our bellies full and satisfied. The food and service was great so I fully recommend it if you're around the area and fancy a nice meal!
