Avocado 4 Minute Breakfast
I quite frankly don't know how I survived in life without those precious green, scaly balls that we call avocados. Really, they don't taste of much but are still super scrumptious at the same time?!
I usually skip breakfast (slap me, I know). I genuinely now try to think a lot more about what's going into my body so I've started skipping the bowl of cocopops or pancakes in the mornings for a banana or avocado on toast. It takes no more than 4 minutes which is great for the rush in the mornings but is still super healthy!
I try to eat only wholemeal bread; or brown bread in desperate times. So, toast two pieces. No butter! Then it's time to get your avocado. I cut it in half and wrap the other half in cling film, to either have the other half for lunch/dinner the same day or breakfast the next day.
This one had been in the fridge which can be difficult to start 'mashing' as it's hard to touch but usually you can just start scraping and mashing the avocado on straight to the toast with a fork.
Next, it's time to add some flavour. All I do is grab some pepper and add this on top.
And here is the final result. I can't even describe how GOOD it is! Fuss free, quick, easy and healthy. Try swapping your sugary bowl of cereal this week for avocado on toast. I find I am also satisfied with how much I have eaten and don't find myself snacking if I have avocado in the mornings; something I am usually guilty for as I work from home.
