5 FAMILY FRIENDLY THINGS TO DO IN LIVERPOOL THIS SUMMER

19/06/2018

From The Beatles to their football club being runner's up in The Champion's League 2017-2018; it's to no wonder that many people are wanting to experience Liverpool as a city.

So what a better time than this Summer for you to experience the ins and outs of Liverpool. I can't wait to get down there and walk about with my camera; taking in all the sights and sounds.

I thought it would be super cool to look into the city and see what it has to offer this Summer. It turns out that Liverpool is just as popular as many other cities in terms of things to do and places to see. I am hoping to experience some or all of these, so I thought I would share a friendly guide with you with what's on in Liverpool.

1. Visit the many musuems
Liverpool is home to a few different museums that all offer something different. From the Mersey Maritime to the Tate Liverpool; what could be better than a free entry for the entire family for a day out in the city?

2. Visit the Roxy Ball Room
The place to be for all ages and for anyone who likes fun. The Roxy Ballroom has ping pong, pizza and cocktails from 11-3pm everyday. The perfect place to duck into for a quick bite to eat or a beer.

3. Adventure Dock
If adrenaline is your thing, then you may want to wander over to the Adventure Dock - a 92 metre floating assault course! Simply climb into a wet suit and take on the inflatable slides and trampolines, whilst being careful not to fall into the water!

4. Jungle Rumble Adventure Golf
Fancy yourself a bit of indoor crazy golf? Then you need to head over to Jungle Rumble! Start by climbing the zig zag stairs on Paradise Street and you'll end up in the jungle, fighting monkeys and lions and hitting balls into holes. It's the place to be for the entire family.

5.  Go on the Nature Trail
If you have kids aged 4-11, then you may want to head over to the Nature Trail whilst it's there. Part of Chavasse Park, kids have the opportunity to interact with the nature in front of them - all whilst learning new things as they walk around.

So many things to do in Liverpool that you will need the minimum of a weekend to really to get to grips of the city. This is only 5 of many wonderful things to do. I just don't know what to do first!

  6. The adventure dock would be the first thing I would check out! I went to Liverpool once for an open day at the university but didn't get much chance to look around the city so I would lvoe to go back.
