TRICK YOUR BRAIN AND TASTE THE CRAVING WITH SLISSIE

23/03/2017

When I heard about this product, I knew I had to give it a try. Let me introduce to you Slissie; a cute lipstick-sized device, which is set to take the world by storm.

How often do you find yourself reaching for the biscuit jar? Cutting another slice of chocolate cake that you baked at the weekend? Throwing away yet another Galaxy Ripple wrapper? I'm guilty of all of these and I bet you are too!

Slissie was designed by a lovely lady called Slissie Lizzie to empower women to take control of how they feel and what they eat; without having to start diets with slow progress. The Slissie helps you to resist snack temptation by giving your appetite and cravings what they want; the flavour.

When flavours that we like are detected by our tastebuds and olfactory receptors, signals are received by the appetite control part of our brain and leaves us feeling satisfied. However, if you have a big sweet tooth like myself, you'll find it's much harder to control your portions and amount intakes of your favourite treats.

I just love the biscuit jar.

Slissie allows you to taste your favourite flavours at the press of a button. The hand-held device is incredibly easy to set-up and use and I've been enjoying using it over the last couple of weeks. Now you can taste things like chocolate, mint, gingerbread and caramel coffee without living with the guilty feeling of the calorie and sugar intake.

You simply screw one of the flavours onto the Slissie and breathe it in; even though it's vapour free and completely safe. You're left with the taste of your favourite flavours and thus; your craving has been fulfilled. Voila!

Slissie is priced at £39.99 from Slissie.co.uk and free refills and accessories are available by joining the reward club on the website. Definitely worth the money in my opinion. I don't find myself reaching for the chocolate digestives and cream cakes half as much since I've been using my Slissie!

  3. I'd never heard of one of these before, and at first thought it was an e-cig! But after reading more, I wonder if this could be the thing my boyfriend needs to stop him reaching for the chocolate biscuits all the time!? x

    1. I know, it is a very similar concept to an e-cig, but completely different at the same time. I reckon it would help your partner, for sure! x

  4. Wow! Didn't know these devices existed! Thanks for sharing! I've thankfully got a control on snacking so wouldn't really benefit from one.
