THE DRESS OF DREAMS

You know when you see the dress of dreams and you know you just have to have it? I have had my beady, green eyes on this 70's style number from Minkpink since before Christmas. So, could you imagine my excitement when JOY got in touch asking if I would like to style something from their website and the dress of dreams just happened to be on there?! 

Fate brought us together. Definitely much more successful than my love life, that's for sure. 

Smock style dresses are the most flattering on me as they nip in at my waist where I'm the smallest, but are fabulous at concealing burger bellies. 

Everything about this dress is perfect to me. From the fit, to the monochrome print, the bell sleeves and the crochet detailing on the elbows; I'm so excited that this little darling is finally mine.

I teamed it up with my Barney's biker jacket from (via ASOS) and some super cute ankle boots from Deichmann. I've never had shoes from Deichmann before, but these are so comfortable and easy to style with just about any outfit. Sadly, they are no longer available, but there a few different similar styles on the website!

I received this gorgeous classic gold watch from Lord Timepieces. They have some gorgeous women's watches, but this one definitely caught my eye the most. From its gorgeous vintage inspired strap, to its classic face and gold trimming; I'm in awe of it. It is a little too big for my wrist however, so I will need to adjust it the next time I wear it!

I actually cannot get enough of this dress and already cannot wait to wear it again. In fact, I think it might just be my next date outfit!
