POOCH AND MUTT DOG TREATS AND GIVEAWAY! (closed)

Elsie is now almost 4 months old (where is my baby going?!) and for the past month; she's been trying out some treats from Pooch and Mutt which they kindly sent over for her. What a lucky chocolate puppy!

There is also a giveaway included in this post which I am SO excited about. Elsie would love to see her fellow doggy friends (they are pals, right?) win some goodies from Pooch & Mutt... so do stay tuned if you would like to win some stuff for your pooch!

After getting Elsie, we had no idea what her bad breeder (read her intro post so you know all about THAT one!) had been feeding her. Within a few days of having her, she became very ill and had colitis (attack to the intestines) due to worms being in her system for weeks. I was recommended to put her on a grain free diet, on and off with eggs and rice too.

This meant no puppy bones, no treats and no puppy milk until her poop went back to normal! That was until the lovely guys at Pooch & Mutt got in touch. Their main purpose in life is to see living happy and healthy lives; which is obviously what any good dog owner wants too!

They have a wide range of different dog foods and treats but also a puppy range! I was so happy to read about this because I'm still finding it very difficult to find food products for puppies in the supermarket!

So... Elsie was sent their wheat-free hand baked treats from the puppy development range* and it was time to put them to the test. After a lot of tail wagging, jumping up to see what the postman had brought her and of course... a million licks to the face; we opened up a tube and let Elsie do the rest...

{Mummy, hurry up and take the picture. I want to try my treats!!...}

The treats are in bone shaped pieces and are chicken flavoured so that must've been why Elsie was SO keen to get stuck in!

She wolfed them down and was already keen to get stuck into the pocket pack* of treats. Little did she know, they are the same but just in a very handy packet for walks and training.

The puppy development range is what it says it is. As puppies grow, their development is vital. This range is packed full of omega 3 which is a great source to have in food for brain growth which makes a puppy's memory very good. I have to say, she picked up the simple 'sit' and 'stay' within a couple of weeks so she is a very intelligent puppy!  Chicory is also a key ingredient which helps the aid of digestion. These treats were great for Elsie's dodgy stomach and I liked the fact I knew exactly what was in the ingredients.

Elsie also received some sample bags of the Pooch & Mutt dog food in the Health & Digestion range. This is a salmon and sweet potato flavoured dog food for adult dogs. We have tried her on half a packet every few nights mixed with her normal biscuits and she absolutely loved it! It's nice to know that there is a wide range of different dog foods available depending on what you specifically require.  I will definitely be picking this range up when she's starting adult food.

Elsie is definitely a fan of Pooch & Mutt products and there was no getting the packets off her for a while!

All in all, Elsie is one very happy puppy and always looks forwards to getting her Pooch & Mutt treats when she's been a good girl (she can be very naughty at times!). I am a very happy dog owner knowing that she is getting her vital nutrients needed for a puppy to grow normally and healthily. Thanks so much Pooch & Mutt for making Elsie happy... and a huge cuddle and lick from Elsie herself! Wuv you! X

Seriously, I have taught her to sit on her back legs like a Kangaroo and beg and also to dramatically fall to the floor and play dead if you shoot at her! Anything for food in this house.
