REVIEW: USB Makers Customised Power Banks

03/11/2015

We all know how extremely annoying it is when our phone batteries are about to die and we are stuck without a plug socket on the train home to re-charge it. It always seems to be the time when I need to text my mum I'm on my way home or when I want to listen to some music that my phone's battery symbol turns that dreaded red colour.

Despite having had smart phones for the past five years; I've never had a power bank. I've been meaning to buy one for ages but you know when you just completely forget about something, remember and then put it off for when you can be bothered? Yeah, that.

Luck came my way recently when USB Makers asked me if I not only wanted a high quality power bank but their latest product; a customised power bank.  I was told I could have my name or blog logo on it (or anything I wanted). I decided it would be a nice idea to extend my blog's branding just that little bit more by getting my logo printed onto a power bank. After all, it's completely customised to just me and beats just having an ordinary colour.

As my logo is quite chunky in length and width, I chose the Venice Power Bank* which was the perfect size in the end and is so light to hold. It comes with a charging cable which you plug into your laptop or a USB plug to charge the power bank itself. Pretty easy!

I let my phone to die to test out how much charge I could get from charging the power bank itself on my laptop for 2 hours. I was pleased to see it fully charged my phone from 1% to 100%. I tested it again later and managed to go from 54% back to 100% before the power bank needed re-charging again.

I would completely recommend the power banks from USB makers; especially a customised one! I have been asked by so many people about it which always makes for an easy conversation about me as a blogger.

It's a thumbs up from me!

  3. Your header looks so good on it!!! I should definitely get one. I have a power bank but it's pretty big, so I don't usually carry it with me on a daily bases.

  7. That is such a cute power bank!! I love how compact it is too, definitely great for on the go! Plus the fact that you could charge 1.5x before recharging is great!
