Personalised Father's Day Treats

This weekend on 21st June is Father's Day. The day dedicated to one of our parents in is all about them. (Don't worry, I am still waiting for Daughter's and Son's day too!). Apparently it's every day according to my Mum!

Father's Day this year marks the first one since my parents have been married. It's always nice to give something back so instead of heading to the local supermarket to pick up your dad something this Father's Day; why not put a little more thought into his card and/or gift?

They kindly sent me out a little 5" sized personalised cake for Father's Day which I am very excited to give to my dad! They have a whole wide range of different designs and some can even be personalised with text and photos!

I chose the Wonderful Dad cake*. I personalised it with some text addressing the cake to my dad from me and chose a chocolate chip sponge. They have different sponge recipes available depending on what you require including a gluten free option!  It arrived through the letterbox packed into a cute little tin to protect it in the post which I think is a great idea! It smells so delicious and I'm sure it will taste just as good!
