Matalan Holiday Wear: Part 2 (Evening)

I am back with part 2 of styling holiday wear for Matalan's Holiday Shop! I loved yesterday's outfit for the day so instead of styling up another day time look, I thought I would conjure up something for the evening. 

I don't know about you but whenever we have family holidays, we make sure to go out EVERY evening (without fail). I love holidays but I hate trying to get ready in the evening when it's just too humid to do anything. I tend to dress up and make an effort for the first couple of days but then I get fed up and my evening outfits become a little more casual and dressed down.

I chose these gorgeous, monochrome tie waist shorts from the festival page which are a part of their holiday shop. I knew instantly they're an easy piece I can style up or down depending on where I am going. 

They are great because instantly paired with a pair of pointed flats; the outfit looks ready for an evening meal or drinks. Pair it with a white cami and some sandals or flip flops and you're ready to hit the beach!

I love the tie detailing because it helps to really bring your waist in. They do come up a little big so I would downsize if you're looking to get a pair but they're a great little addition to anyone's wardrobe.

I did get some white chunky sandals from the holiday shop which are now out of stock (sad times) but these would be great with the shorts for a casual day time look. 

Team this outfit with a little black clutch and you are good to hit the town for dinner!
