Clean Heels

20/06/2015

Hands up if you went to the races this year? Meeee! More on that soon but today's review is something perfect for any occasion where us women have to wear shoes with stiletto heels on grass. Whether it's a wedding, races or even a festival.

Let me introduce you to Clean Heels.

Retailing at a starting price of just £5, Clean Heels are rubber stoppers which pop onto the stiletto heel of your shoe to prevent the awkwardness of sinking into the grass. It happens to the best of us and is something we all have had to deal with until this super cool invention was made.

Supported by the Dragons' Deborah Meaden and Kelly Hoppen, Clean Heels were pitched forward to the entrepreneur TV show Dragons' Den by Ally Stevenson; a mum of two from Stubbington. Before she knew it, she was given a £50,000 boost by two of the dragons in return for 12.5% shares each made on sales.

When Clean Heels saw I was going to the races this year, they got in contact and sent me over some of their products. The stoppers come in different sizes depending on the width of the heels on your shoes. To measure this, you place the heel on the size guide.

Unfortunately, I didn't wear stiletto heels to the races this year so didn't get to wear them but they are a fabulous idea and I know I will definitely use them when it comes to any future weddings or garden parties :)

I have a pair of heels that I ruined wearing to a wedding. Turns out suede and grass don't mix well! And you spend so much of your time trying to get your heels back out the mud.

I'm definitely going to look into these!
