London Retro glasses AND GIVEAWAY

London Retro's new Autumn/Winter eye wear collection is heavily inspired by all things London Underground. Available exclusively at MyOptique, London Retro have brought out ten different frames named after London train lines. There are classy, modern and sophisticated frames; offering something for everyone.

MyOptique asked if I would like to try out a pair and as a glasses wearer, I am due for a new pair! They offer this really (really) cool home trial service which I think is simply wonderful and I had a fantastic experience using. I have been tempted to order frames online before as I know my prescription, but what if they don't suit my face? You're then left with a pair of unwanted glasses, no new glasses to wear and of course, it's a total waste of your money. The home trial service allows you to choose up to four pairs of frames which are then sent for you to try on. Mine came within two days and best of all; it's completely FREE. You just pop the glasses back into the box and into the postbox (free post) within 7 days and then you are free to order the frames you liked most... or not at all!

The first pair I chose were the London Retro REGENT frames in Purple. I really liked these! However, I thought maybe purple was a little too in your face.

I also tried out the REGENT pair in the black and red colour. Much less in your face and red is actually my favourite colour!

These are the CIRCLE frames in pink. I think they're cute but they didn't suit me at all!

Lastly, I chose the REGENT frames. A flattering shape with an interesting blue strip at the top.

After a lot of umm'ing and ahh'ing and asking for opinions, I went for the black and red CIRCLE frames. All I did was post the sample frames back and then choose the pair I wanted and ordered them with my prescription. The glasses arrived within two weeks and I am so happy with them. The vision is spot on and I now feel like a sophisticated young woman!
